ROUTE
The start is from the “Traunwiesen” meadows by the Hotel Cyprianerhof in St. Cyprian, 3 km from the village of Tires. It is an up hill run across these meadows in direction of Plafötsch alpine hut.
From there you proceed along the “legend path” No. 7 to Haniger alpine hut (1. refreshment station).
From Haniger alpine hut the trail goes in direction of Köllner hut.
Shortly before heading Köllner hut, there is on your right the Hirzel path and you run along a wonderful trail in direction of Rotwand Hut (Roda de Vael hut). Here you are in the municipality of Fassa valley (2nd refreshment station).
You proceed on a single-trail in direction of Cigolade pass, where it goes downwards on scree to the Vajolet hut (3rd refreshment station).
From here on you run upwards on a wide path to Grasleiten hut (Principe hut), (4th refreshment station).
The rest of the way is through the Grasleiten basin where the two courses split (see short course). The runners stay on their right avoiding running down into the basin.  Run in the direction of the Molignon pass. The trail proceeds from the Molignon pass downwards to Tierser Alpl hut (5th refreshment station).
From this refuge you run slightly downwards in direction Schlern and then upwards again through “Bärenloch” on the Schlern plateau until you reach Schlernhaus hut (Bolzano hut), (6th refreshment station).
The run proceeds along path n. 1 in direction “Sesselschweige” and then along the path “Briegelweg” in direction of “Peter Frog”
After the steep downhill “Peter Frog”, you have to turn LEFT and follow path n. 7 in direction of Tschafon. After 2-3 km you turn LEFT again and take path n. 7B that brings you slightly upwards to Tschafon hut (7th refreshment station).
Then it goes down on the trail (not on the carriage road) to Wuhn-Leger pond.
From this tiny pond, you take the path to the small church of Saint Sebastian and then you proceed in direction “Leitner”. Here you cross the “Völsegg” path in direction of Tiers and after 200 m ca. you turn LEFT and go straight down along the “Thaler” meadows to the village. Behind the “Haus der Dorfgemeinschaft” (Community Centre) a narrow path leads you directly to the finish at the Brunnenplatz (Fountain’s square) in the centre of the village of Tiers.

Short course:
The two courses follow the same route until Grasleiten pass. From that point on, the short course proceeds downwards across the Grasleiten basin, left to the Grasleiten hut (refreshment station) and down the Tschamin valley until the Tschaminschwaige mountain cabin.
From here on, you take the road to Weißlahnbad, then, after 1 km ca,, you run along the “Proa” meadows, where you find the highest homesteads of Tiers.
You proceed then along the Oberstraße. When you arrive at the Hotel Pattissenhof, the road forks. Veer down to the left to the Kofler homestead. Go on along the path that leads directly to the finish in the centre of the village of Tiers.
